Japanese cooking on Gough Street; the name means folding fan.

Notes

  • Chef Shun Sato is from Sendai, by way of Blancharu in Sydney, Aqua in London and Ho Lee Fook here. The cooking starts from izakaya sharing plates and picks up British and Australian habits along the way — though he refuses the word izakaya for it. The half-timbered, sakan-plastered front copies his grandmother's house in Sendai; Jamo Associates did the interior.
