• A small shop on the ground floor of On Hing Mansion, Queen's Road East. Inside is dark green, with round bubble lights and curved lines that nod at the sixties and seventies. The beans are Colombian and Brazilian, and you can ask for the nuttier or the fruitier. There is only a sliver of room by the counter, so most people take it to the benches in the pocket park outside. Flat white is the order; there is also The Crew, Earl Grey under espresso, and a dirty chai made on soy. There is another counter at BaseHall in Central; the photograph on this page was taken there, while the featured and mapped store is the Wanchai shop.
