• Ground floor of Hollywood Centre on Queen's Road West, over two levels — the lower one opens to the street, the upper set up as a lounge. The mood is wabi-sabi: the menu at the door is handwritten, and the window holds the day's desserts, all made in house without additives and all in limited number. Matcha and hojicha lattes are what regulars order, mostly under fifty dollars. Hand-brew classes at weekends. Japanese street photography on the walls, and a shelf of coffee magazines in the corner.
