• A ground-floor room in the factory quarter of Tuen Mun, on Kin Fat Lane. The name takes a piece from each of its two owners, Karen and Joe, and folds in the idea of coffee zen. Inside is Japanese and spare, wood throughout. It is small and works in light things — croissants, bagels, sandwiches and wraps against specialty coffee, most of it under a hundred dollars.
