• A ground-floor room on Wun Sha Street in Tai Hang. Jesse Choy started in 2020 with Mono Lab in Central, the first place here to put single origin coffee next to shisha. Oma is about specialty coffee — the odd varietals especially — and about explaining it: order a combo and two beans arrive side by side to compare, and a cupping board is rewritten daily with the brew data and tasting notes. The food is all-day breakfast and its own baking: pistachio basque cheesecake, Earl Grey banana bread, jalapeño cheese sourdough. Big, quiet, industrial. Half eight until six, last orders at half five.
