JC Lombard's young daughter cannot take dairy, so he built the whole counter without it — fourteen lactose- and dairy-free flavours, made fresh daily and rotated, from fifty-eight dollars. The room is done as a 1960s Milanese café-bar, and there are cocktails and milkshakes made to order alongside the gelato. Thursday to Saturday it runs to midnight.
